Making him or her feel listened is particularly important in seduction or sales situation. Look for traits in the body movement and tonality. Does the speak look annoyed or bored? Is the tone dry or vivid? If you can understand the body clues, you can deduce the needs of your partner and adjust your conversation direction.

Mimicking refers to mirroring and matching of your partner’s body pattern. It includes pace of speaking, the words used and body movement. Try to mimic the speaking style and body gestures, and your partner will feel subconsciously comfortable with your presence. The reason is simple, because you are perceived to be inside their group and you appear to understand them. Having a common ground catalysts the communication process and helps you achieve your conversational goal.

Learn to stand upright and position yourself in a openly gesture. Look for non-verbal clues to identify a common ground. And mimic your partner’s body language. They also will pay for Chitka sites because they have links on the sites. She Told Me is a great way to make money while promoting your links. 4. Hubpages - Another great site to get back links and make money for yourself. Make EBay, Amazon and Adsense profits while gtting the links to your sites. You will have to write articles but unlike Ezine articles which don't pay you money this site will.

5. Squidoo - Make money again from many different resources. Even Clickbank. They won't pay you per click on Adsense or ebay but will instead send you a check when you reach payout.

Use these sites to get the backlinks and make money. You no longer are stuck writing longer articles to get the backlinks for no money. Promote your sites and earn while you do that.

It does, however, show that a formal education isn't an absolute necessity for a successful life - nor for increasing one's brainpower. There are at least 18 billionaires that dropped out of high school, as well as 10 Nobel prize winners, 8 U.S. presidents and dozens of best-selling authors. Even Mensa, the high-IQ group, has some high school dropouts among its ranks.

In recent years, it has become less common for dropouts to succeed in many areas (except perhaps business), because diplomas, degrees, and official papers have become more important to society. While it is good to encourage education, this over-valuing of formal documents may lead us to pay less attention to what intelligence and success really are. Certainly, looking at the list above, you can imagine there are many well-papered people in this world that are a rung or two below some high school dropouts in terms of true success and the use of their intelligence.

5 steps to fix your financial woes...

i. Knowledge

Find out everything you can about your own in/out cash flow. If more money is going out than coming in, you need to do something about it immediately.

ii. Have A Plan

Sometimes all it takes is to evaluate your spending habits. Say "no" flashy things and sleazy salesmen. Count every cost you incur for a month and you will eventually discover where you should cut your expenses.

iii. Self-discipline

Once you have a plan. STICK TO IT. Tell yourself that when your financial situation improves, your quality of life will follow suit. Once you're out of the quagmire of debt, everything looks better.

Michael Dell. With $1,000, dedication and desire, Michael Dell dropped out of college at age 19 to start PC’s Limited, later named Dell, Inc. In 1996, The Michael and Susan Dell Foundation offered a $50 million grant to The University of Texas at Austin to be used for children’s health and education in the city.

Barry Diller. Fox Broadcasting Company was started by a college dropout, Barry Diller. Diller is now chairman of Expedia, and CEO of of IAC/Int erActiveCorp which includes Home Shopping Network and Ticketmaster.

Walt Disney. Having dropped out of high school at 16, Walt Disney’s career and accomplishments are astounding. The most influential animator, Disney holds the record for the most awards and nominations. Disney’s imagination included cartoons and theme parks. The Walt Disney Company now has annual revenue of $30 billion.

Debbi Fields. As a young, 20 year old housewife with no business experience, Debbi Fields started Mrs. Fields Chocolate Chippery. With a recipe for chocolate chip cookies, this young woman became the most successful cookie company owner. She later renamed, franchised, then sold Mrs. Field’s Cookies.

Henry Ford. At 16, Henry Ford left home to apprentice as a machinist. He later started Ford Motor Company to manufacture automobiles. Ford’s first major success, the Model T, allowed Ford to open a large factory and later start the assembly line production, revolutionalizing the auto-making industry.

Bill Gates. Ranked as the world’s richest person from 1995-2006, Bill Gates was a college drop out. He started the largest computer software company, Microsoft Corporation. Gates and his wife are philanthropists, starting The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation with a focus on global health and learning.

Milton Hershey. With only a fourth grade education, Milton Hershey started his own chocolate company. Hershey’s Milk Chocolate became the first nationally marketed chocolate. Hershey also focused on building a wonderful community for his workers, known as Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Steve Jobs. After attending one semester of college, Steve Jobs worked for Atari before co-founding Apple Computers. Now without the “Computers” in their name, Apple includes innovative products such as the iPod, iTunes, and most recently the iPhone. Steve Jobs was also the CEO and co-founder of Pixar before it merged with Walt Disney.

Rachael Ray. Despite having no formal training in culinary arts, Rachel Ray has made a name for herself in the food industry. With numerous shows on the Food Network, a talk show and cookbooks, high-energy Rachael doesn’t slow down. She has also appeared in magazines as well as having her own magazine debut in 2006. She knew she was a success when a website dedicated to bashing her was created.

Ty Warner. Sole owner, CEO, and Chairman of Ty, Inc., Ty Warner is a savvy, yet private business man. Ty, Inc., made $700 million in a single year with the Beanie Babies craze without spending money on advertising! He has since expanded to include Ty Girlz dolls, directly competing with Bratz dolls.

Frank Lloyd Wright. Having never attended high school, Frank Lloyd Wright surpassed all odds when he became the most influential architect of the twentieth century. Wright designed more than 1,100 projects with about half actually being built. His designs have inspired numerous architects to look at the beauty around them and add to it.

Of course, just because these people made it does not of course mean that most people can do without a college degree. If you’ve got an entrepreneurial spirit, the degree is just a backup.

Throughout 2009 consumers will be looking for bargains, making discount and surplus stores a natural business opportunity. Obviously I'm not the only one who thinks so as discount stores are springing up all over. The best way to get in on this business opportunity is by buying into a franchise.

8) Sports equipment

Selling sports equipment will continue to be a good business opportunity. Sports devotees will continue to do what they love to do as long as they can and will continue to be willing to pay for the equipment they need to do it. So cycle, gameboards, Gym items and bikes will all continue to sell. There will, however, be increased interest in used sports equipment, an interesting business idea in itself.

9) Senior care

On the list last year, this makes the list of best business opportunities again this year because of ever-growing demand. Business opportunities in senior care range from opening your own senior care home through providing in-home care or home services such as preparing meals, housekeeping or running errands. Senior care franchises are another option for getting in on this business opportunity.

10) Chocolate

The lure of chocolate is irresistible at the best of times and in uncertain times, people will eat even more of it. And that's a lot of chocolate.While the market is dominated by the big manufacturers, there is still room for small businesses to specialize in producing premium gourmet chocolates. Of course, you'll need to find an experienced chocolatier to turn this business opportunity into a viable business - or become one yourself.

Why Are These the Best Business Opportunities?

Because these are business opportunities that have legs. Taking into account the economy, consumer and business trends, these are businesses that should be profitable not just for 2009, but for years to come.

But not every business opportunity is right for everyone. You always need to do your homework; writing a business plan is a good (and safe) way to find out if the small business opportunity you're considering is worth investing your time and money in.

Bing vs Google

Lots of speculation continues around who might be the right CEO for Bing, both on my original post here (I am honored by the readers who suggested it but, come on, guys, I am not the right person for the job), as well as across the 'sphere. Jiju has some interesting ideas here, including David Rosenblatt, former CEO of DoubleClick, now at Google (see my interview with him at CM Summit here), former Viacom chief Tom Freston, and Richard Rosenblatt .

I think all these are fine candidates, and Forbes called me today asking me for more. As I chatted with journalist Elizabeth Corcoran, some themes came out. It seems there might be three types of CEO candidates - leaders from "orthogonal" companies - not media or direct Internet, for example, but folks who grok the overall technology and business space. My candidate from here is Bruce Chizen, former CEO of Adobe, who has successfully competed with Microsoft and gets the B2C software/Internet as platform space (at left, and in conversation at Web 2 last year).

Another type of candidate might be folks from major ad platforms. David Rosenblatt falls in that category, but he's got a very big job at Google, and I'm not sure he'd want to go boil another ocean. But what about Brian McAndrews, who sold aQuantive to Microsoft? (Web 2 video).

A third type of candidate might be a visionary in the space of open platforms, where Jerry - rightfully I believe - has pushed Yahoo in the past year. It's harder to find easy candidates for this category, because most leaders in the world of "open" are more visionaries than operators. But it led to to wonder about folks who might be inside great companies like Dell, HP or IBM, leading huge divisions. After all, those companies have seen the impact of open - Linux in particular - and closed - Microsoft - and have learned lessons that could really guide a maturing Internet world.

That's when another name struck me - Vyomesh Joshi, EVP of HP's Imaging and Printing Group (at left and in conversation with me here). Widely seen inside HP as visionary, VJ (as he is known) is also an accomplished operator - he runs a $30 billion business, after all. But does he have knowledge of bing? Yep - he's on the Board.

Whoever ends up running Bing, I think, will not be someone to come in, fix it, and sell it. Why? Because honestly, besides Google, which has declared it's not interested, who else is a buyer of *anything* right now? And I may be showing some bias here, but I believe Bing is a great search engine that has lost its way, not an asset to be packaged and sold to the highest bidder in a low market. The right person can come in and prove that. I wish whoever it is good fortune.
